Diplomas at CTSW

At CTSW, we are proud to offer a specialised range of diploma courses exclusively for post-16 learners with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP). These programmes are designed not only to provide valuable qualifications but to build confidence, independence, and real-world skills that open the door to future opportunities.
Our diploma courses are tailored to meet the individual needs of each learner. We recognise that everyone has a unique journey, with different strengths, challenges, and goals. That’s why

we take a personalised approach—supporting learners in a way that works for them, helping them grow both personally and professionally.

We currently offer diploma pathways in the following areas:

Multi-Trade Construction

Our Multi-Trade Construction diploma introduces learners to a variety of practical building skills, including carpentry, painting and decorating, plumbing, and basic electrical work. Through hands-on projects, learners gain confidence in using tools, following safety practices, and completing real-world tasks. This pathway helps build both independence and employability, preparing learners for future opportunities in construction or related industries.

Hospitality

The Hospitality diploma provides learners with the practical skills needed to thrive in customer-facing environments such as cafés, restaurants, or hotels. Students learn food preparation, customer service, health and safety, and teamwork through real-world, practical experiences. With a focus on communication and confidence-building, this pathway opens doors to future work in the hospitality sector or further training in catering and service roles.

Holistic Care

Our Holistic Care diploma focuses on developing the knowledge and skills needed to support wellbeing, health, and personal care. Learners explore areas such as basic care practices, health and safety, relaxation techniques, and understanding individual needs. This pathway builds empathy, responsibility, and confidence, supporting learners to pursue roles in care, wellbeing, or community support services while also strengthening their personal independence.

Each programme is built around practical, hands-on learning, supported by experienced staff who understand the diverse needs of learners with EHCPs. Our team works closely with each student, offering consistent support and encouragement throughout their time with us. We focus on more than just qualifications—we build confidence, nurture talent, and help learners take meaningful steps towards employment, further training, or independent living.

At CTSW, we foster a respectful and inclusive learning environment where every individual is valued. Collaboration, adaptability, and a deep understanding of additional needs are central to our teaching approach.

A diploma at CTSW is not just a course—it’s a stepping stone toward a brighter, more independent future. If you’re a post-16 learner with an EHCP and you’re ready to develop your skills in a supportive, hands-on environment, we’re here to help you take that next step.
