Jess began her career in childcare, qualifying as a childcare practitioner before completing her teacher training at the University of St Marks and St Johns. Following graduation, she worked as a Year One teacher before progressing into her current role as an Early Years teacher. She is also undertaking training to become a qualified assessor, further enhancing her ability to support and develop others within the education sector. Jess finds working at CTSW incredibly rewarding, as no two days are ever the same. Her role is both varied and meaningful, enabling her to make a positive impact on learners who share her passion for educating children. She values the supportive and inspiring culture at CTSW, where both colleagues and learners demonstrate dedication and motivation. The organisation’s values strongly align with her own, which was a key factor in her decision to join the team. She is deeply passionate about creating safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environments where learners can flourish and become the best Early Years educators they can be. With a practical, hands-on teaching style, she encourages learners to explore diverse approaches and build their skills through varied and interactive experiences. Outside of work, Jess enjoys Pilates, baking, exploring new restaurants, spending time with friends and family, and going on long walks with her dog.
